Leaving the Porto de Abrigo da Praia da Graciosa, we initially head in the direction of the island of São Jorge, passing off the Ilhéu da Praia and then the Ilhéus do Carapacho. As we approach the coast of São Jorge, we can admire the grandeur of the green coast. Ahead of us the tip of Rosais with its lighthouse and islet, and just to the right the island of Faial. Skirting the Rosais, we continue away from the southern coast of São Jorge with the mountain of Pico slightly to our right.
On the coast, from right to left, the Pico Airfield, Lajido, Arcos, Santana, São Vicente, Santo António and finally Cais do Pico.
Then we visit Cais do Pico and the village of São Roque do Pico. During the trip you will certainly spot plenty of marine fauna.
