Tour to Pico Island (Madalena)

Leaving the Porto de Abrigo da Praia da Graciosa, we initially head in the direction of São Jorge Island, passing off the Ilhéu da Praia and then the Ilhéus do Carapacho. As we approach the coast of São Jorge, we can admire the grandeur of the green coast. Ahead of us the tip of Rosais with its lighthouse and islet, and just to the right the island of Faial. Skirting the Rosais, we head directly to Madelena observing from left to right the Pico Aerodrome, Cachorro, Cais do Mourato, Toledos and finally Madalena.

Noteworthy are the two islets that are on your right when you reach Madalena, the “Ilhéu Deitado” and the “Ilheu em Pé”.

Then we visit the pleasant town of Madalena . During the trip you will certainly spot a lot of marine fauna.
