Leaving Porto de Abrigo da Praia da Graciosa in the direction of Faial Island, we will pass off the Ilhéu da Praia and then the Ilhéus do Carapacho. As we approach the coast of São Jorge, we can admire the majesty of the green coast. Ahead of us the tip of Rosais with its lighthouse and islet, and then the island of Faial. As we pass the Rosais islet, we are faced with a breathtaking scenery: to our left the south coast of São Jorge, in front of Faial and a little further left, the north coast of Pico Island.
Continuing on, we pass next to Almoxarife Beach in Faial (our right side) and about 3 MN to our left we spot the town of Madalena on Pico Island. And so we arrive at the magnificent city of Horta.
Then we visit the charming city of Horta. During the trip you will certainly spot lots of marine fauna.
